Training Programme

Lagos is practically the Fashion capital of Nigeria, where better to get creatively inspired than a reputable Fashion School in this city. At the very heart of Lagos, on 16, Bode Thomas, Surulere, you can find the Sayo Silver Fashion Training School. We specialise in the core skills of pattern making and professional sewing.

Surulere is an attractive spot, a location that will serve to boost your creativity. At Sayo Silver, though we set our standards very high, they are attainable and well worth it. Another benefit of training at Sayo Silver is the merger of technical and business skills by offering practical, real-world experiences in both production and marketing.

Training at Sayo Silver gives you easy access to the Tejuosho model market, famous for its varied and rich choice of diverse fabrics and tailoring materials or haberdashery. From our Fashion School, you have access to numerous ancillary stores, including photo studios, make-up studios, hair salons, banks, bars, eateries, telecoms and so on. There are stores that specialise in sales of industrial and domestic sewing equipment and also provide support services. A 30-minute bus ride will take you to the ever dynamic and popular fabric and haberdashery stores on Lagos Island, Balogun, Moshalashi, Tinubu and Tom Jones being a few examples.

As we are poised to be leaders in the world of Fashion education, we have qualified tutors who are graduates of Fashion and Textile from reputable universities and colleges across the world. We have tutors with training in education and fashion from Nigeria, UK - London College of Fashion and Central Saint Martins College of Arts and Design, Bangladesh, and the US.
